Stenson shot a bogey-free, 6-under 66 to claim the crystal trophy on a day where THE PLAYERS Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass was playing hard and fast. PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. -- Henrik Stenson, 68-69-73-66--276 (-12), in his 44th career PGA TOUR start, posted the only bogey-free round on Sunday with a 6-under 66 to capture THE PLAYERS Championship by four strokes over Ian Poulter (70). At 12-under 276, Stenson steps into the winner's circle for the second time on the PGA TOUR (2007 World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championship).
